I write and record songs a whole lot now. I used to go under the moniker of Cooper. I did a project in 2011 where I released an original song every day throughout the year. Since my Cooper365 Project ended and gained a kind of friendly following I’ve been a little more open about the fact that sometimes I write songs and sometimes I record them, and so I release things as Ardie Collins now. I describe my style as a sort of jangly, folky bawl, but that’s mainly because I’m unbearably self-derisory. Some people seem to like it, though. You can decide for yourself.
